Hi, I'm Yvon
A passionate UX designer with an industrial design background. I currently work as an independent UX designer at Toptal and an instructor at UXY program. I also mentor at Sofasoda & Designlab in my spare time. I love helping people grow and empowering people’s life. I have been building digital products with many world-class teams such as Sketch. Codementor, KKBOX, Yahoo.
Besides my design career, I am also active in several entrepreneur communities. I was the 2017 scholar and the venture pitch winner of MIT global Bootcamp (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). Moreover, I support and advocate for female professionals in Taiwan tech industry and am the 2018 representative in design for 40 Under 40 selected by Girls in Tech Taiwan.
Travel makes me a better Designer
In 2011, I traveled to India, which was my first time travel abroad across Asia. The journey to India was incredible and inspiring. I just fell in love with travel since that time. I knew travel will make me a better Designer.
Inspired by the book 《Hidden in plain sight》, I enjoy traveling to different cultures and contemplation in action. Those profound experiences broadened my mind and leave me into a more global-perspective designer.

I love to do yoga, taking the photo📷, and play with my twins Olie & Onna & dog NOVY🐶. Also, I love to explore new experiences around the world. SKILLS
ACTIVE USED TOOLS
I usually start my design process with text editor tool. For the time beging, I’m falling in love with Notion which I’ve been heavily used it to discuss my thinking process with teams. Design wise, Sketch is my primary design tool, Sketch Cloud is where I communicate my mocks. prototype, and hands-off assets with developers. Other than that, I used Miro to do brainstorming and Typeform to survey users. (Note that: I’ve been picking up Figma as my design tool too! No worries if Sketch isn’t your favor!)
